Teeth & Swimsuits & Steps & Nursing

Ella got two little bottom teeth, oh, about a month ago. And today, I can feel the top two!! but you can't see them yet. ALSO SHE HAS SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT THE LAST TWO NIGHTS AND IT IS A MIRACLE. Before, I was waking up once or twice, feeding her a bottle, changing her diaper if need be, and then putting her back in her crib, which she would do peacefully maybe... 80% of the time. So lets hope by writing about this I'm not jinxing it.

I stopped nursing a while back. Ella was between 9 & 10 months. I wish I would have done it a bit sooner even, 6 or 7 months maybe. She just would snuggle after eating a bottle, and it was so fabulous, she never did that after nursing. PS I still have milk that will come out a little, and I'm a confused why. When will that go away?

Speaking of, a post baby body is hard to put in a swimsuit! I bought this one from Target thinking the ruffle would hide all my insecurities. And it did, when the swimsuit was dry. But the weight of the water on the ruffle caused the cups to roll down. So, I'm trying again with this high waisted bikini bottom and this zippered top. We'll see if it's enough coverage... and if they're the same color...

Also, Eleanor started walking! You can only see one bitty step here, but I've seen as much as 4 steps in a row. Since getting her teeth, she's really taken a liking to pacifiers too. Maybe it's like a substitute for a teether? i don't know.

Review: Juice Cleanse

I've always been so curious about juice cleanses. Do they actually work? Will I really have more energy from drinking a bunch of vegetables? and most importantly- obviously -will I lose weight?

Here's my thoughts if you'd like to hear:

The Spring Game

Per Brent's request, we went to the Spring BYU Football Scrimmage Friday night. Brent gets to see all the players, see them warming up and testing out their stuff. He even went early to get the players autographs! You know, to give to his 10-year-old nephew (who's obsessed with sports, naturally, as a Mouritsen). I liked it. What I liked was the spring weather and the warm evening light on those peaks!

Also, my parents came to visit last week. We had such a good time.

Please come back!

Soup, Crying Tip, & Ella

A Panera classic made over for a creamy yet lighter Chicken Broccoli Cheddar Soup! You won't miss the heavy cream and butter in this delicious recipe!

I found this healthy version of Cheddar Broccoli soup, and it is delightful. I was pretty worried about using almond milk at first... but its delicious regardless, and it cuts down the calories quite a bit to use it instead of regular milk.  I also used reduced fat cheddar cheese- still delicious.

On to 9 month old Ella...
