Look at him hanging from the gymnastics bar!! I don't know if all babies can do this, but it is so cute. We had his 15 month doctor appointment today and it seems like he is a bit delayed in talking. He rarely says mama- and its debatable if that is what he is saying. But he DEFINITELY has said thank you multiple times in this darling rather inaudible way that sounds something like eng-oo. But other than that he is growing in all the usual ways. Poor little guy had 4 shots and it was so sad. I cried a little. and thats fine.
more after the jump:
Then we went to Walmart and he was a busy body as usual, So I put him in the main compartment of the cart. He gets restless in the child seat portion. I was looking at the mac and cheese because he really liked that at Aunt Natalie's house, and he was standing in the cart holding onto the side. He lost his balance and fell ON HIS HEAD on the floor and started crying real bad. Several people saw. and i was so sad for him and felt so ashamed. this older lady was like, "is that little girl going to be ok?" first of all he was wearing obvious boy clothes, but I know she was trying to be kind, bless her heart. I left my cart in the middle of the store and peaced. He didn't cry as much as I expected for that fall! he fell on his forehead so thankfully he didn't break his nose or anything. We shall see.
Lucy is so darling and fabulous! 8 almost 9. Here at the mini cheer clinic at the GHS football game. She loves Harry Potter, reading, TV, only sugar bee apples- no other apples. whole, not cut, eating ramen and PB&J sandwiches-raspberry jam only-, hearing the latest drama, her aerials class, the science engineering NASA youtuber Mark Rober. She was right in the front row of the half time cheer show and she killed it. no surprise.
Jude is loving:
-closing open drawers or cabinets. he likes an organized look he does.
-cars and wheels and anything that will spin
-little lego people
-sucking his thumb
-sleeping with his blue blankie
-playing hide and seek
-loves fruit snacks, and gummy candys like Grandma Kathys sourpatch kids and my low blood sugar gummy lifesavers
-pushing strollers and grocery carts
-other kids
We visited baby Lainey the other day- she is just so darling. seeing any and all babies warms my hearts. i saw brother hunt walking yesterday morning with a baby strapped to his chest and it brought me to tears.
He was doing a little dance sitting on the bleacher and he fell right off and cut his chin on the bleacher in front of him!
